Armine Asatryan earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in Biology from Yerevan State University, focusing on plant in vitro cultures. She later completed a master's in Desert Studies and a PhD in Microalgal Biotechnology at Ben-Gurion University, Israel. Following her PhD, she specialized in plant epigenetics and fish parasite genomics at the Czech Academy of Sciences. In 2023, she enhanced her knowledge in food safety at Porto University, Portugal. Currently, Armine is a postdoctoral researcher and bioinformatician at the Armenian Bioinformatics Institute, researching grapevine responses to climate change.
