In 2024, ABI received $70,000 in grants and donations to fund the construction of a new research and training center at the Institute of Molecular Biology (IMB). The contributions include $40,000 from the H. Hovnanian Family Foundation, $20,000 from the Adobe Employee Community Fund, and $10,000 from an anonymous donor. This new center will support ABI’s growing team of over 20 researchers and staff. The two-floor facility will include nine rooms, such as offices for lab leaders, meeting spaces, open work areas, and rest zones. The design aims to foster collaboration, support ABI’s training programs, and strengthen partnerships with IMB. The space will also be available to welcome international visitors, partners, and interns. The renovation is expected to be completed by 2025.
