New method reveals bacterial reaction to antibiotics in five minutes․ project led by V.Pelechano, L.Nersisyan and S. Huch

Another collaborative research paper with ABI is out at Nature Microbiology! The project was led by Vicente Pelechano, Lilit Nersisyan and Susanne Huch at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden.

The team has successfully developed an innovative method that enables rapid and comprehensive understanding of bacterial reactions to antibiotics and other factors.

This breakthrough may pave the way to provide clinics with fast and effective diagnostic tests. With these tests, we can ensure the timely and accurate selection of antibiotics, addressing the critical issue of resistance.

We are also proud to announce a significant milestone: the first published work featuring an ABI student!

Congratulations to Dr. Lilit Nersisyan and Nelli Vardazaryan on this achievement.
